Description
This award recognizes faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to the intellectual development of the university. The award is based on a comprehensive and sustained record of scholarly excellence in research or creative activities, instruction, and public service.
Nomination Procedures
The Department of Kinesiology is permitted to nominate one candidate for the Distinguished Faculty Award each year. Nominations are submitted by faculty or students to the Faculty Advisory Committee. Credentials for the most qualified nominee are forwarded to the College of Education and subsequently to the University. Nomination forms and further information about the award are available on the Provost's web site.
