The Ray J. Saltzman Outstanding Student Trainer Award was established in 1973 by the MSU Alumni Club of Oakland County. Ray Saltzman was a student athletic trainer at MSU in the 1970s.
Ray J. Saltzman Outstanding Student Trainer Award
This award is presented in memory of Ray J. Saltzman, a former Michigan State University student athletic trainer. This award is presented to those student athletic trainers who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and dedication in support of Michigan State University athletics. The Saltzman Award is presented by the MSU Alumni Club of Oakland County.
Application Process
All undergraduate student athletic trainers are considered for this award. The award is presented by the Michigan State University Athletic Training Staff and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
