Graduate education can greatly enhance your professional experience as a sport coach, athletic director, recreational sport director, or leader in a sport-related field. At Michigan State, we offer two graduate programs for sport coaches and leaders: a 30-credit hybrid Master of Science in Sport Coaching & Leadership, and a 9-credit online Graduate Certificate in Sport Coaching & Leadership. These courses are taught by experts in their fields, and designed with the flexibility required by working professionals. Our instructors take special care to design learning activities that will help you to apply the science of coaching and leadership to your every-day work as the leader of a sport program.
