Understand Degree Requirements

Prepare for Advising Meetings

  • Bring a list of your questions or concerns to the advising appointment
  • If you are seeking advice about your course schedule or degree planning
    • Use StuInfo to verify courses completed, grades attained, etc.
    • Prepare draft copies of the Academic Progress Plan and the Record of Courses Completed. Go to the forms menu to locate forms specific to athletic training, exercise science, and physical education teaching.
  • If you are seeking advice about a different concern, send a short email address to one of the academic advisors before your appointment.

Pre-Professional Academic and Student Services

Students who are preparing for careers in medicine, dentistry, or other health care professions should consult the pre-professional advisors in the College of Natural Sciences.

Seek Academic Support Services

Students who could benefit from tutoring, help with study skills, help with writing, or other academic support services should contact the Learning Resources Center. Student-athletes may seek help from Student-Athlete Support Services.

Transferring Courses from Other Universities

Consult the transferring credits menu on the Office of Admissions web site for information about transferring course credit from another college or university.
