Advising
Meeting with an Advisor
Secondary teacher candidates complete undergraduate degrees in their subject matter major. Students should continue to see their major advisor for most questions regarding course planning and graduation.
Secondary teacher candidates are welcome and encouraged to work with advisors in the College of Education Student Affairs Office regarding issues specific to their teacher certification and career planning. Questions about the program requirements, certification requirements, and continuing education requirements for certified teachers can be directed to any of the College of Education advisors. Contact the College of Education Student Affairs Office with questions or to schedule an appointment.
